As we share some of the thoughts of love...joy & happiness...tempered with a grasp of sorrow as well over "AFIN", it's plain to see...that we couldn't help but want to help Xena and Gabrielle as we too came along with them to the "so called saving waters" on Mt. Fuji in Japan...in the final episode of XWP! wherein Xena should have been saved...only to have her truest hopes for Gabrielle and herself smashed!



...We could not help but mourn the pain with her surviving loved one Gabrielle as she recovered her beloved Xena's lifeless body only to burn ...in her all out effort to restore Xena!



It is also as important to remember the many valuable and heartfelt lessons in their adventures/lives...and the fun and true gladness of just having had the chance to have known them at all.
Their caring ways for the downtrodden and weak...defenders of the defenseless...the fun and adventures "in a land crying out...for hero's"...such as them...for a hero as magnificent as Xena...shall never truly die in the hearts of her millions of fans around the world.

"Xena Warrior Princess" is about an infinite and unconditional friendship & love...between two people...Xena and Gabrielle are as one...in a relationship that is so plainly good and true.

Whether Xena is ever to return in the corporial form or not...in any as yet to be found scroll to be shown on film or television...it would almost not matter if but for the fact that Xena suffered so unjustifiably at the hands of the very people both she and Gabby had only tried to help!

This was all due in large part to the seemingly innocent Akemi...who first tricked Xena...and then later Gabrielle...into her fable, only to be followed by the deceit and great lie of the "Forty Thousand Souls of Higuchi", who to be frank, threw their own lives away by what they did to a nearly helpless Xena, who quite by accedent set fire to their town when they attacked her en-mass with giant rakes, stones, and the lit torches hurled upon her!



What was poor Xena supposed to do...
just stand there and take it?
Xena did the only thing she could do and used the only "device" available to her...
her so called "flame-trick" trying to repel them away!



Later on as we tearfully watched in the story, the townspeople refused to take any responsibility whatsoever for the fire's of death and destruction which they brought down upon Xena, Gabrielle and themselves, as we witnessed with our own eyes the shock and horror unfold!



Xena gets to take the blame and lose her life wrongfully for the lost soul Akemi, and the brutality of the people from her hometown!

The Xena who told Gabrielle often and repeatedly throught the series six year's..."GABRIELLE!...YOU ARE MY GREATER GOOD!" was seemingly missing in action...tricked & taken in by a false guilt...perpetrated on her by the very people she had just saved from destruction, though they had tried to destroy her some 25 years earlier when she only sought to honour Akimi by returning her ashes to her family shrine...

Even so...Xena STILL tried to help them!

AFIN should have been a great sixth season ender cliffhanger...
but please...not the series ending.
Not to "nit-pick" offend, or find fault...with the "AFIN" Story ( There were SOME great moments after all)...but what really hurt so very much in the finale, was the shocking emotional impact of Xena's horribly brutal death, on her many fans, and a lack of the loving and redeeming Gabrielle and Xena's screen time together the million's of ever loyal & long time fans had come to hope for and to exspect...
for Xena and Gabrielle...
In The Series Finalie!



These aspects of Xena and Gabrielle's story are just a few of the many reasons why this website is still here today more than 10 years later in 2007!...to show continued support, and encourage the fans about a hoped for and long awaited....redeeming Xena/Gabrielle movie or mini series!
Yes, to right the wrongs done to our beloved heroines... we plead the case for a hope filled and life affirming sequel movie!

As we know...Xena and Gabrielle exist in an alternate reality...or universe...if you must, of "fiction/fantasy"...but it's one with a message...a message of friendship and love...one that can never die...maybe we must miss them for the time being but with realistic hope for a reunion of Xena and Gabrielle in a yet to be found scroll...for Xena is a true hero...and friend...who was cruely taken from Gabrielle and the world far before her time.

In what turned out to be one of the last episode's of the series entitled...
"Many Happy Returns"
Gabrielle reads gently to Xena these words of love that famed poet Sappho penned on Xena's behalf for Gabrielle on her birthday.

AS "TV GUIDE" PUT THE SITUATION IN THE "CHEERS & JEERS" section:

"JEERS to a charnel conclusion. The final episode of Xena: Warrior Princess was unsettling, first of all because it took our favorite tough girl to Japan. That was an odd and disorienting choice, like locating the final episode of Gunsmoke onboard a pirate ship. Far worse than the geographic jump was the show's brutality. Xena died a gruesome death while battling 20,000 samurai. After being impaled by a hail of arrows, she was beheaded and strung up for display. We don't object to Xena going down fighting. But we liked her too much to see her butchered!"

Xena's Producers aka..."TPTB" (the powers that be!) will soon be able to remedy the current "situation" with a theatrical movie or a mini series and at long last give Xena & Gabrielle (and we fans too!) the "happy ending" Gabrielle & Xena truly deserved in 2001
and however the recent reports at the 2007 Xena Convention say it's more of a certainty than ever for...

In an interview which Lucy Lawless gave to an Auckland New Zealand radio programme she rather seems ready to don the Xena gear soon!
NZR: That leads me to another question I had for you or maybe to point out that in narrating Warrior Women, that people know you of course for bringing Xena to life, for all of us who love her. But the warrior women series you narrated was tremendous at giving people, in particular at little girls a sense that there was more to history that they might see. I wonder what your thoughts were about doing that show?
Lucy: My God, my thoughts about that show really were 'We've been jibbed, man'. Women's history has been so hidden, we've been written out. There are great women leaders, great women role models, great warrior women. REAL warrior women out there and it was deemed uncool to be beaten by a girl back in the time of Queen Elizabeth. There was an Irish counterpart, Grace O'Malley and she was written out of history because she was such a foe to the English navy, so I'm mad about that.
NZR: You have done a wonderful service in bringing that to living rooms across a broad area and I guess I might put a pitch in there that, you know, were so many, in particular, I think of girls, because I think of my god-daughter who was probably about 6 at the time when Xena came on and I just think of how many of other little girls she represents who so excited and so into the show Xena and it makes me think that there really is an audience for a movie...
Lucy: I agree. I'm REALLY ready to. It's taken me 3 years to get back in the world. I think being a tv star makes a social retard and it's taken me a long time to deal with bureaucracy. You know arranging things for yourself [laughs]
NZR: you mean like getting your laundry done and knowing when your taxes have to be filed.
Lucy: Knowing when your taxes have to be filed, paying your bills, getting your kids signed up at school, all sorts of things I never was able to take care of before. So I relinquished all responsibility for that stuff and now that I'm adjusted. I'm rising like a phoenix from the ashes! [laughs]
NZR: She's sitting up in her chair with energy.
Lucy: No kidding. It's really taken me this long to go 'BRING IT ON' so I would absolutely consider doing a Xena movie. I'm ready. I'm ready to work again.

Their love survived even death itself...they are destined to be together forever and always.

Love was always central to the story's shown on XENA!...in unlimited friendship and without conditions!...Which is something our so called "modern" world has often forgotten about, sadly lacking in virtue, and taken for granted in these difficult times for many around the world, we need our Hero's Return!
..But this is something Gabrielle & Xena NEVER forgot about even in Higushi!...a place where their friendship and love was tested by all around them...beyond all fairness!
...or so it seems to many of us fans... & yet with so many questions still left unanswered!

We are asking for a sequel from the studio to right these terrible wrongs as seen below!










It isnt very difficult to envision a movie which would have Xena's nessisary return from her "AFIN" death...in order to save Gabrielle's very life/soul...in which we would witness a disquted Gabrielle coming into view...a Gabrielle who has hardened her heart against herself...and just maybe the world...one who would feel that she has lost "her greater good" lost without her beloved Xena.

Xena seeing all of this from "the other side" would come back to her and help.
